The sand making machine breaks down materials using the “stone hitting stone” crushing principle. When raw materials are fed into the sand making machine, they fall vertically into a high-speed rotating impeller where they collide with impact plates and with each other until crushed to the desired size. The machine is suitable for a wide range of materials with hardness of up to 320 MPa such as river pebbles, basalt, limestone, granite, quartz, and iron ore. It is widely used to produce sand and aggregates for highways, railways, hydroelectric dams, and concrete batching plants.
